The Roy Halladay Bobblehead Is Left-Handed

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Bobbleheads, by and large, tend to bear a varying degree of likeness to their human counterparts. Some are dead-ringers, and some ... not-so-much. There are some things that they usually get right; like what hand the player throws with.
The Roy Halladay bobblehead, available through the MLB.com Phillies online store, isn't of the dead-ringer type. It's not the facial likeness (which admittedly is so-so), it's that the bobblehead has a glove on the right hand, and is throwing with the left; Halladay is a right-handed pitcher.
Perhaps someone thought that Halladay's recent struggles could be remedied by just throwing with his other arm.
The error was found a Phillies fan named Marc [last name witheld], who sent his discovery over to the Roy Halladay fan blog Zoo With Roy. When reached for comment, Marc replied "the picture speaks for itself, why are you bothering me?" You can follow Marc on Twitter @mleif.
**UPDATE** MLB.com no longer sells the Roy Halladay left-handed bobblehead, though they can be found on Ebay.
