Philadelphia (CBS) – Thousands of people looking to improve their homes are getting tips at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The 31st annual Philadelphia Home Show is underway at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
"It's just a great marketplace for people to learn anything that they need to learn about what they can do inside of their home or outside of their home to make it a great place to live."
"I think right now people are looking for a way to improve the home that they're living in. They're not necessarily buying a huge new house," says Alyson Caplan (photo), director of the home show.
She says you'll find something new at the home show every year.
So, what's the trend in 2012?
"Well, the trend that I think is pretty consistently hot right now is being green and being energy efficient."
The home show runs through January 22nd. Tickets are $10 online and $13 at the door.
