PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The first day of this year's Made in America Festival Saturday was a big hit.
At least 44,000 people packed the Ben Franklin Parkway on the first day of the two-day festival to see some popular musical acts, capped of at night by Kanye West.

Whether packed in front of one of four stages or dancing in the club area off the Parkway, everybody was in good spirits Saturday, and Deon feels that's just what Philadelphia needs:
"It's bringing positivity to the city. I'm having fun, everybody's having fun."
One of the more popular stops was a booth where people could interact with people at the show in L.A. through a live feed. That's where Nicole and Michelle were:
(Michelle) "I just like seeing all the people here."
(Nicole) "Like Philly coming together."
(Michelle) "Yeah. Everyone showing their pride."
There was also plenty of good food being offered up, with a number of popular restaurants and food trucks setting up shop for the weekend.
Most people who rocked out Saturday will likely stick around on Sunday.
