ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (CBS) – A Temple University basketball player is facing charges after police uncovered his involvement in a prostitution ring.
Temple star guard Khalif Wyatt was arrested in Atlantic City near the intersection of Montpelier Avenue and Pacific Avenue after he allegedly propositioned an undercover cop who was posing as a hooker.
In addition to prostitution charges, Wyatt is also charged with resisting arrest after he tried to flee the scene.
Officers from the FBI Task Force, the Absecon Police Department and the Atlantic County Sheriff's Department were all reportedly involved in the two-day operation designed to target Atlantic City's prostitution issues.
Temple has yet to release a statement on the arrest.
