15-Year-Old In Critical Condition, 2 Other Teens Injured In Triple Shooting Outside Simon Gratz High School: Police
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Two teenage siblings were shot and another teen grazed just as a North Philadelphia high school was being dismissed in the city's Nicetown section. All are students at Simon Gratz High School Mastery Charter.
Mastery Charter School sent out a statement Monday saying that all three of its schools were immediately put on lockdown after the shooting. People nearby are afraid that this is just the start of what's to come.
A mother shook her head as she pushed a stroller past a crime scene just steps away from a school.
"It's just really sad that this is happening in my community," she said.

The school confirmed that the teens -- ages 15, 16 and 17 -- attend Simon Gratz High School in Nicetown.
"I heard the pop, pop, pop, pop, pop and I looked around like it was firecrackers, which I thought it was," a man said. "Next thing I know, I turned around and looked, young brother jumped in the car and took off."
Police say a 15-year-old boy is in critical condition at Temple University Hospital, while his 16-year-old brother is stable and a 17-year-old was grazed.
"We're not sure of the motive at this point," Philadelphia Police Capt. John Walker said. "We know we have a burgundy car, not sure of the make and model at this point that's waiting outside the school and it looks like at dismissal, they confront a few individuals. Not sure if the victims are the ones they confronted and they fired multiple shots."
As police search for the gunman, neighbors like Barbara Smith are left with unwanted reminders of the violence.
"One of my neighbors called and told me that I have five bullet holes on my car," Smith said. "I'm just disgusted with all this shooting and different things. I lived in this neighborhood for over 40 years."
Cindy Bass is the councilperson of this region. She spoke about the violence that's left at least eight people injured in 72 hours.
"Crime rises as the temperatures rises, and as I mentioned, we had a conversation with Commissioner [Danielle] Outlaw and top police brass in the northwest and they do have plans," Bass said.
Bass also believes one of the problems is teens having guns, and encouraged families to look in their homes and get rid of the unwanted weapons.
No arrests have been made in the shooting.
