Teen Gunned Down In Kensington Identified
By Jenn Bernstein
PHILADELPHIA (CBS/AP) -- Philadelphia police are searching for two gunmen they believe are responsible for a triple shooting in Kensington that left one teenager dead.
Authorities rushed to Russell Street just before 10:30 Sunday evening after reports of gunfire.
"Upon police arrival, they found three victims," Chief Inspector Scott Small told Eyewitness News.
Nineteen-year-old Luis Manuel Feliciano was found with a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead by medics.
Officials believe at least 10 rounds from a semi-automatic handgun were fired at point blank range to where the young man collapsed.
We're also told two other people, who police say were minding their own business, were also hit by three other bullets.
"Those two victims, the 18-year-old male, and 30-year-old female we believe were innocent bystanders," said Chief Inspector Small. "They were sitting on the steps, on the 900 block of East Russell, when they were struck by gunfire."
Police say the 18-year-old was struck twice, once in each thigh.
The woman was hit in the foot.
Both were transported to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
Police believe they are looking for two men who ran from the scene.
If you have any information, you are asked to call police.
