Technical Glitches Hit Facebook Web Site

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- It's not just you. The social media site Facebook was experiencing some technical difficulties this morning.
"There was a problem updating your status. Please try again later," was the error message that popped up whenever Facebook users attempted to update their status, Similar messages resulted from posting comments, sending messages, or posting photos.
The site DownRightNow.com, which evaluates the status of Internet web sites, was showing "likely service disruption for Facebook."
But Facebook was not completely down -- users were still able to browse posts and click through their newsfeeds.
As of midmorning, some users were able to do status updates and schedule posts.
There was no immediate response from Facebook.
