Tebow: 'Coach Kelly Has Been Able To Change Football'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Tim Tebow knows football.
While his ability to the play quarterback at the professional level can certainly be debated, the former Heisman Trophy winner and SEC analyst on ESPN certainly understands the game.
Tebow, who hasn't played in the NFL since 2012, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles this offseason.
"Well, it's been great so far," Tebow told Angelo Cataldi and the 94WIP Morning Show on Thursday, of his time in Philly. "It's been a great adjustment getting used to the new facility, getting used to Philadelphia, obviously the new teammates and coaches---but it's been great. Everybody has been extremely kind to me. I've been getting adjusted to it, but a lot of great teammates, a really great culture, and having a lot of fun as well."

Throughout his football career Tebow has played for many prominent coaches: Urban Meyer at the University of Florida, John Fox with the Denver Broncos, Rex Ryan with the New York Jets, Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots, and now Chip Kelly with the Eagles.
Tebow, 27, raved about his new coach.
"I love the offense, I love the system," Tebow said of the Eagles' offense. "I think it's an innovative system. I think you look at wherever Coach Kelly has been, I think he's been able to change the way football has been played. The way the defenses have to approach trying to stop it, the ability that it gives the offense to play in space to let athletes go play. You know, I love the offense and I've been really enjoying getting to know it better and better everyday."
Tebow and Meyer led the University of Florida to two BCS National Championships in three years (2007, 2009) and explained some of the similarities between Meyer and Kelly.
"They are both really good coaches, I believe they're pretty good friends as well," Tebow said of Kelly and Meyer. "Both of them try to put athletes in space on offense. Their systems have some cross over, but they're not the same by any means. Just like I said about Coach Kelly and Coach Belichick, is they're both always trying to find an edge, they're always motivated, they're always pushing their team, and they're great motivators."
As one of the most polarizing athletes in the country, the Tebow haters are always questioning his ability to play quarterback.
"The good thing is, I don't really have to worry about it," Tebow said. "For me, it's just about trying to be the best teammate I can be. It's not necessarily pleasing all outside opinion. There's not going to be a lot of believers, there's gonna be a lot of naysayers. That's just something that you can't let worry you."
