Taxes Will Be Prime Issue In Pennsylvania Governor Race

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Pennsylvania Republicans are turning up the heat on Democratic gubernatorial candidate Tom Wolf to cough up his personal and corporate income tax returns.
The issue? The percentage of income Wolf has paid in taxes.
Delaware County GOP chair Andrew Reilly trotted out Wolf's summaries of returns Wednesday from 2010 through 2012, suggesting Wolf paid about a 7-percent tax rate, while the average Delco couple's rate was more like 12.8%.
"Tom Wolf, early in the primary, indicated that he was going to release his personal income tax returns as well as his corporate tax return and now he has reneged on that promise," says Reilly.
The Wolf campaign response? Those numbers don't account for the Wolf's giving more than a million dollars to charity. Take that into account and their rate is more like 15.5%.
Governor Tom Corbett released 10 years of returns back in April.
