Taking Time To Remember On Memorial Day

OCEAN CITY, N.J. (CBS) - As the sun started to rise on Ocean City this morning, walkers, joggers and bikers took to the boardwalk for another round of care-free living.
"My sister's down with all her kids," said Cathy. "There's about 30 of us, we're having a ball."
While the waves and warm weather add to the fun of Memorial Day weekend, Beverly Vaughn's patriotic spirit runs deep. She said her father, uncles and many of her cousins served in the armed forces.
In Wildwood, New Jersey, Vince Deprinzio touched the names on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall. It's one of only three in the country that is an exact half-size replica of the official wall in Washington D.C.
Across the street from the Memorial Wall are hundreds of American flags. They're there to honor the more than one million service members who've lost their lives fighting for our freedom, since the Revolutionary War.
