Take Your Dog Out To The Ballpark This Tuesday
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Citizens Bank Park is opening its doors to dogs.
On Tuesday, September 10th, the stadium will hold its inaugural "Phillies Bark in the Park," a night for Phillies-loving dog owners and their pups.
Tickets to the special event, which cost $75 for one dog and one person, include food and drinks from 5:30 – 7 p.m., seats in the Budweiser Rooftop Bleachers, a free Phillies folding dog bowl, $10 in concessions and a $10 donation to the animal welfare organization PAWS.
There are some stipulations, however. Only the first 50 dogs to will be admitted, and there will be no walk-up sales. Dogs must be vaccinated and owners must provide proof of vaccination and keep the canines on leashes no longer than six feet.
And even if you don't bring your pup, all fans can stop by the PAWS area to donate items like towels, fleece blankets, laundry detergent, bleach and canned dog and cat food. Adoptable dogs will also be on-site.
