Tailgating Parking Tips At Lincoln Financial Field

Football season has begun and tailgating parties are underway. Fans pack up their vehicles and head over to Lincoln Financial Field to join in the football celebration before the game begins. Crowds show up in waves equipped with grills, chairs and of course, Philadelphia Eagles gear.  Amongst the full day of festivities at the tailgate party, the best way to start out the celebration is with easy parking.

Parking

Where to park is essential to get the tailgate party started without any delays or violations. Parking at Lincoln Financial Field for tailgating is open at lots K, L, J, N, E, F and J. Parking is also available at the Wachovia parking lot. However, watch for the signs that specify where to park for tailgating because the available lots will change from time to time. These lots are clearly marked with explicit signs throughout the area. Parking is also available in the Citizens Bank parking lot only for fans who have tickets to attend the Eagles Zone tailgate party. In order to attend the Eagles Zone tailgate party, fans must purchase tickets through Eagles Fan Zone.

Parking becomes available for tailgating around 9 a.m. or approximately five hours before the game. There is reserved parking for some guests who are Suite holders, Touchdown Club members, Red Zone seat holders and Club seat holders. In lots Q through W and the NovaCare complex, tailgating is not allowed. Any parking lot north of Pattison and Darien Avenue prohibits tailgating. Ensure that you find a lot that can accommodate your pre-game plans.

Pricing

Parking for cars is $25 per vehicle space. If parking an RV, the cost of parking is $50 and up. If the RV takes up three parking spaces, then the price is $75 and up. Keep in mind that when parking your car for a tailgate setup, every vehicle is subject to inspection. Avoid the possibility of missing the game by leaving all illegal or dangerous items at home.

Rules and Regulations for Parking

Keep in mind that when tailgating at Lincoln Financial Field, certain items are prohibited from bringing into stadium. Fans cannot bring in outside alcohol, animals, thermoses, food wrapped in clear plastic, hard-sided coolers, umbrellas, fireworks, firearms, footballs, laser pointers, noisemakers, signs, flags or sticks. Also, when tailgating at the lots, avoid ticket scalping, throwing objects, soliciting or loitering to ensure you are abiding by the rules. If any of these rules are violated, it is grounds for dismissal from the lot. Any fan who is clearly intoxicated will be removed from the parking lot and will not be admitted into the game even with a ticket.

When heading out to the Eagles tailgate party, be sure to leave plenty early so you can secure a good spot. Follow the guidelines listed and parking for the tailgate party will not be a problem. For patrons that have medical or special needs, some exceptions can be made. For a full list of rules, regulations and ticket pricing, call (215) 463-5500 or visit www.lincolnfinancialfield.com.
