System Leaves New Jersey, Delaware With Up To 6 Inches Of Snow

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – February 1st finds us deep into winter with temperatures cold enough to snow and for snow to stick.
A fast moving clipper system raced through the area with enough power to dump up to six inches of snow south of Philadelphia.
Dennisville, Cape May County recorded that half foot depth, along with Woodbine, and Seaville.
Amounts to the north fell off sharply with Mullica Township, Atlantic County picking up 1.7 inches of snow and the farther north Tabernacle, Burlington County sweeping .4 inches off windshields and driveways during the morning.
In Delaware's Kent County, Dover picked up nearly six inches of snow and Harrington three inches of snow.
The winter weather left slick roads and a reminder that even with temperatures in the upper 60's less than two days ago that things change fast in the winter.
This system exits this morning and leaves us cold and ready for another shot of snow on Sunday, with possible light accumulations.
