Sylvester Stallone is turning down a position in President-elect Donald Trump's administration.
Report: Donald Trump Targets Sylvester Stallone For Arts Role
The star of "Rocky" told People magazine that he is "flattered" by reports that Trump was eyeing him to lead the National Endowment for the Arts.
"I am incredibly flattered to have been suggested to be involved with the National Endowment of the Arts," the 70-year-old Stallone told People. "However, I believe I could be more effective by bringing national attention to returning military personnel in an effort to find gainful employment, suitable housing and financial assistance these heroes respectfully deserve."
Stallone has been involved with charities for veterans before.
