Swastika Burned In Yard Of Pennsylvania Family
SARVER, Pa. (AP) -- Local police and the FBI are investigating after a swastika was burned into the yard of Pennsylvania family.
John Namey of Sarver says he's not sure why the family was targeted, but that his daughter is gay and has been threatened with violence in the past.
Namey's family first saw the swastika Thursday morning, and his stepson's car was also vandalized and covered in pink paint this week. Namey says the family isn't Jewish. Sarver is about 25 miles northeast of Pittsburgh.
FBI spokeswoman Kelly Kochamba says they are reviewing the case. Buffalo Township police did not immediately return a call seeking comment.
