Suspects Force Their Way Through Store Wall, Steal Cigarettes, Cash
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia police are searching for four male suspects who broke into a grocery store by forcing their way through a wall.
It happened some time between 9 p.m. on August 20 and 8 a.m. on August 21 at the Pena Grocery store on the 700 block of West Butler Street. Authorities say once the men entered the market, they took $700 worth of cigarettes, $100 in cash, and two televisions – a 32 inch and a 19 inch.
The surveillance camera captured the suspects up close, grabbing trash bags and allegedly stuffing those bags with goods.
The first suspect is described as a black male, between 25-30 years old, about 6 feet tall, and weighing about 230 lbs. He was wearing a hooded jacket, jean shorts and sneakers.
The second suspect has a thin build and was wearing a Phillies baseball cap, and blue jeans. The third suspect is also described as having a thin build and was wearing a Phillies baseball cap, hooded jacket and carpenter pants.
The fourth suspect had a mustache and was wearing a baseball cap, hooded jacket and shorts.
