On November 10th at 2:00 am, a 36 year-old Nick Forte was walking on the 200 block of South Camac Street when the first suspect punched him from behind, violently knocking him to the ground.
While the Forte was lying unconscious, the second suspect continued to punch him several times in the face.
After taking Forte's wallet, cell phone and gold with diamond necklace, the suspects fled the area in an unknown direction.
After surveillance video was released to the public, several tips were received by Central Detectives that identified Matthew Morris as one of the suspects.
A short time later both suspects were arrested without incident.
