Suspect Wanted In Robbery Of 82-Year-Old Frankford Man Caught On Surveillance Video
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – An update to a CBS 3 Exclusive -- a new clue in the search for the suspect who police say beat and robbed an 82-year-old man in Frankford.
Philadelphia police have released surveillance video in hopes someone recognizes the suspect from Tuesday's attack.
The victim spoke only to CBS 3 following the attack (see previous story). The 82-year-old had just left the bank when police say the suspect maced and punched him on Griscom Street.
The suspect got away with $1,200. He is described as a Black male, 30 to 40-years-old, 5'9″-6'0″, 250 pounds, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
The victim is recovering from his injuries.
