Suspect Sought In Robbery Of Delaware Bank
NEWARK, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are asking for the public's help in tracking down a bank robbery suspect.
The robbery happened at about 9:20 a.m. Wednesday at the PNC Bank branch located in the Newark Shopping Center on East Main Street.
According to the Newark Police Department, the male suspect entered the bank and presented the teller a note demanding money.
The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect then ran out of the bank.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall, approximately 180 pounds, with a scruffy beard or rough complexion and wearing glasses. He was wearing a tan straw fedora hat with a black band and a feather, a white polo shirt, an oversized brown tweed or plaid sports coat, khaki pants and black boots.
