Suspect Sought In Robbery Of Bank In Villanova

RADNOR, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Delaware County have identified a suspect they say robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon.
The robbery happened at about 1:37 p.m. at the Sovereign Bank located at 2 Aldwyn Lane in the Villanova section of Radnor Township.
According to investigators, the suspect, identified by police as 25-year-old Michael Hamilton, entered the bank and presented a demand note to the teller which indicated he was in possession of a weapon and demanded money.
The suspect was given an undetermined amount of cash and ran out of the bank on foot.
No employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
Hamilton is described as a white male, approximately 6'1", early to late 20's and scruffy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt underneath a dark jacket, black Aeropostale sweatpants and white sneakers.
Court records show Hamilton was sentenced a month ago to five and a half to 11 months on theft and related charges.
