Suspect Sought In Robbery Of Bank In Olney

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a bank in Olney Tuesday morning.
The robbery happened at about 10:30 a.m. at the Beneficial Bank branch located at 5301 Chew Avenue.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank and presented a threatening demand note to the teller.
After getting an undisclosed amount of cash, which included a red dye pack, the suspect ran out of the bank.
The suspect is described as a black male, 25-30 years old, with a medium complexion and slim build. He was wearing a black baseball cap with a gray hooded sweatshirt and a black shirt underneath. The suspect may also have red dye on his hands and/or clothing.
