Suspect Sought In CVS Armed Robbery On Christmas Eve
STRATFORD, N.J., (CBS) – Stratford Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a male wanted in connection with an armed robbery at a CVS Pharmacy Tuesday morning.
It happened at 10:56 a.m. at the CVS Store at 55 S. White Horse Pike in Stratford.
Police say a male entered and proceeded directly to the pharmacy department where he leaped over the counter and demanded Oxycontin.
According to police, the suspect verbally threatened the pharmacist with a handgun before making off with a quantity of controlled substances.
No employees or customers were injured during the robbery.
Police say the male is very similar in appearance to a suspect whom committed similar crimes at the Target Store on Oct. 15th and Wal-Mart Store on Dec. 2nd, both in Deptford.
Police describe the suspect as a white male, 30-to-40 years of age, brown hair with possibly graying sideburns, 5'9" to 6'00" tall, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing dark pants, black sneakers, a royal blue baseball hat, dark sunglasses and a black mid-weight, hooded jacket with a gray inner liner.
