Suspect Sought In Attempted Robbery Of West Philadelphia Bank
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a bank Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 2 p.m. at the PNC Bank branch located at 19 South 52nd Street in West Philadelphia.
According to investigators, the unidentified suspect entered the bank and presented the teller with a threatening demand note.
Police say the suspect ran out of the bank without obtaining any money.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his late 20s, 5'9"-5'10" with a thin build and was clean shaven. He was wearing a black hat and dark coat with a "cross strapped" backpack red, black and white in color.
