Suspect Sought In Attempted Robbery Of Delaware Bank
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – Police in Delaware are searching for a suspect who attempted to rob a bank Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at about 2:30 p.m. at the WSFS Bank on W. Newport Pike in Wilmington.
According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank and presented a female teller with a demand note for cash. The note implied that the suspect was armed, however; a weapon was not displayed.

The suspect (pictured above) is described as a black male, 30-35 years of age, 5'8"-5'10" tall, with a medium build, medium dark complexion and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and a black t-shirt over top of a black long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call Troop 2 robbery detectives at 302-834-2630 ext. 6 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at 800-TIP-3333.
