2 Suspects Arrested In Northern Liberties Shotgun Murder Of Store Clerk
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - One of two men being sought in the murder late last month of a Northern Liberties convenience store clerk was arrested this morning, and the second suspect turned himself in to police later in the day.
Quasheam Richburg, 20, was picked up without resistance about 8:30 a.m. today in a home in the 2100 block of Norwood Street by a task force consisting of U.S. Marshals and Philadelphia police.
He was wanted in connection with the May 26th shotgun murder of store clerk Mustafa Shaker (see related story).
Police named Richburg as a suspect the following day (see related story).
Shaker, the married father of two teenagers, was shot at point-blank range during a holdup at Trax Foods, near Front and Girard, that took place about 3 a.m.
Police were still looking for a second suspect, identified as Marvell Hargrove (right). Authorities say he surrendered himself to police about 3 PM.
