PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police have arrested and charged a man in connection with two assaults and one rape that happened earlier this month in Fishtown.
Authorities have been on the hunt for 24-year-old Manuel Cintron since he was identified as a suspect on May 5. He was captured Monday inside a home along the 7100 block of Montour Street in Northeast Philadelphia.
Cintron has been charged with multiple offenses, including rape, sexual assault, indecent assault, kidnapping and false imprisonment.
Police say on May 1, Cintron pulled a gun on a 22-year-old woman who was walking along the 2000 block of East York Street. He forced her into his van, raped her and then let her go at Almond and Boston Streets.
Police believe Cintron is the same man who attempted to abduct another woman nearby just an hour earlier.
