Suspect Wanted In Violent Home Invasion In Delaware County Captured In North Carolina
MARPLE Twp., Pa. (CBS) -- Police say a suspect wanted in connection with a Delaware County home invasion earlier this month was taken into custody in North Carolina on Wednesday.
Tyree Mansell was wanted for a home invasion/robbery on June 15 in Marple Township.
Shortly after the incident, police stopped a car fitting the description and four males jumped out. Officers chased them, and caught three of the four suspects.
Mansell was on the loose ever since.
Police say through the use of cell phone data, Mansell was tracked to the Charlotte area.
After a brief struggle, authorities say he was taken into custody.
Police say Mansell will be extradited back to Pennsylvania to face charges.
