Suspect Arrested In West Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police have arrested a suspected gunman in connection with a Tuesday night shooting near 53rd and Chestnut Streets in West Philadelphia.
Investigators say the gunfire rang out around 11-o'clock last night. A police officer walking a beat in the area witnessed the incident and arrested the 59-year-old suspect.
An unidentified 29-year-old man who may have been the target of attempted robbery was shot in the neck. He was listed in critical condition at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
