Suspect Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Teen In Fairmount
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say they've made an arrest in the weekend murder of a teen in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia.
Twenty-three-year-old Sergio Santiago was reportedly taken into police custody on Wednesday, April 2 – just three days after the body of 17-year-old Antonio Flores was found inside an apartment on the 1600 block of Wallace Street (see previous story).
Flores died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Police say Santiago was arrested at the Neshaminy Inn on Wednesday this morning.
The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting continues.
