Suspect Arrested In Fatal Bucks County Hit-And-Run

BRISTOL, Pa. (CBS) -- The family of a Levittown man who was killed in a hit-and-run over the weekend, made a desperate plea for the driver of that car to step forward. As of Monday night, police say they have recovered the car and have made an arrest.
The black Audi was found hidden inside a storage unit in Fairless Hills and towed here just after midnight this morning.
Police say it's the car that struck and killed 36-year-old Eric Beck along New Falls Road he was walking to meet his mother for a ride for home after leaving a birthday celebration early Saturday morning.
His mother, Michelle, says she was on the phone with her son, driving to pick him up when the line went dead.
"And as I pulled around the corner, I saw all the cars, and I saw what had happened. And then I pulled over to the shoulder of the road, and I saw his coat," said Michelle.
She says as she bent down and her son asked her to hold his hand and then he died.
Just before 10:45 p.m. Bristol Township Police announced the arrest of Charles Robert Horrocks, 23, from Bristol Township, in connection the fatal hit-and-run
Investigators arrested Horrocks at his girlfriend's house in Yardley. He said nothing as police lead him into the Bristol Township police station late Monday night.
