Investigators say the little girl went to a neighborhood store at about 2 p.m. Thursday. About an hour later, the girl came home and told her mom that a man had grabbed her and took her to a nearby home where he sexually assaulted her.
The arrest came after the victim showed police where the suspect took her and after police carefully studied surveillance video in the neighborhood where the incident took place.
Turner was questioned at length overnight and was officially charged this morning.
Investigators say Turner chose his victim at random. Turner remains behind bars.
