Suspect Arrested For Burglarizing East Goshen Township Home
EAST GOSHEN, Pa. (CBS) – Westtown-East Goshen police have arrested a man after he allegedly broke into a home in East Goshen Township.
Police received a call on June 5th at around 1:15 p.m. concerning a suspicious person who was in the area of Lochwood Lane in East Goshen Township. Officers arrived, checked and secured the residence then remained in the area to search for the individual.
Just fifteen minutes later, the police department received a second call from a resident of another home on Lochwood Lane who reported that she had been in her bedroom when a black male entered her house before fleeing on foot. She also reported that money had been taken from her wallet, which was downstairs in the kitchen when the suspect was inside the house.
Police searched the area and found an unsecured residence, where they discovered the suspect concealed under articles inside a basement closet. The suspect, identified as twenty-year-old Elijah Z. Timberlake of Hightstown, New Jersey and West Chester, Pennsylvania, was in possession of the stolen money from the other residence, which was located just 1/8 of a mile away.
Timberlake is charged with burglary and other related offenses.
