Surveillance Video Released In Armed Robbery Of Northeast Philly Target

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police have released surveillance video of three suspects wanted in connection with the brazen robbery of a Target in Northeast Philadelphia this past weekend.

The armed suspects made off with as much as $30,000 in cash.

The incident happened at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Target located at 11000 Roosevelt Boulevard.

According to investigators, the three suspects hid out in the men's restroom until the store was closed for the night.

After closing time, the suspects emerged from the restroom and demanded money from the store's safe.

When the suspects were told that the safe could not be opened, they forced an employee at gunpoint to stand in one area.

One of the suspects then forced an employee to open the cash registers and place money from the drawers into a backpack that was held by another suspect.

After taking approximately $10,000 to $30,000 in cash, the suspects ran out of the store and were last seen towards Haldeman Manor Apartments located on the 10000 block of Haldeman Avenue.

There were no injuries to any Target employees.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, 5'5" with a dark complexion. He was wearing glasses, a black-hooded sweatshirt with "make the dream real" on the front, gray pants, army green sneakers and armed a handgun.

Suspect #2 is described as a black male with a light brown complexion. He was wearing a gray-hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, and white/gray Air Max sneakers. This suspect changed his gray sweatshirt to a red-hooded sweatshirt.

Suspects #3 is described as a black male with a dark brown complexion. He was wearing a dark-colored hat, gray-hooded sweatshirt with white and red writing and gray pants.
