Study: Parents 'Facebook Stalking' Their Kids

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – While you're spending hours on Facebook stalking your ex or that annoying frenemy, your parents might be stalking…you.
According to new data provided by Education Database Online, 43% of parents check their child's Facebook page on a daily basis, and one in two of those on Facebook admit they joined in part to keep an eye on their kids.
As for what parents check up on the most, 41% say they keep tabs on status updates, and 39% look at what others have posted on their child's wall. A healthy 29% also peruse photos their kids are tagged in.
Since 2010, the number of U.S. moms with Facebook accounts has grown by 22%, from 50% to 72% in 2012. Ninety-two-percent of parents on Facebook are friends with their kids.
Meaning there's a good chance your parents know exactly what you did last weekend.
