Study: More People Call Uber Than Ambulance For Emergency

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — More people are calling on Uber drivers to take them to the hospital, instead of an ambulance, according to a new study by the University of Kansas.

Poll: 'Whatever' Ranks As Most Annoying Word

The study looked at ambulance rates in 767 cities throughout the country.

Data reveals that calls for ambulances dropped by about seven percent.

The study says people who are too sick to drive likely call an Uber to avoid the expensive ambulance ride.
