Study: Military Kids More Likely To Be Missing Out On Routine Vaccinations
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – New research reveals kids in military families might not be getting some important shots.
Researchers at the CDC say they examined the records of more than 3,000 children of military personnel.
Close to 30 percent were not up to date on vaccinations.
Scientists say military families move often, which may make it harder to keep up with the immunization schedule.
The research is published in the journal Pediatrics.
