Students Gather After School In Protest Of Philadelphia's Education Budget
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Students and supporters gathered outside of Philadelphia School District headquarters Tuesday afternoon in protest of Philadelphia's education budget.
Students gathered at about 4:30 p.m. after the school day ended at 440 N. Broad Street in Spring Garden.
Chopper 3 HD was over the scene.
Organizers said they planned to chant and display signs protesting the cut in funding for Philadelphia schools. They say the decision will have devastating long lasting effects.
