Students At Penn State's Main Campus Support 'Blue Out'

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (CBS) -- As more details emerge in the Penn State sex abuse scandal, the students are finding themselves stuck right in the middle and trying to decide their role.
There's no escaping the scandal, it's just about all anyone is talking, tweeting or texting about, according to Mark Wishnia, a senior and general manager of the student run radio station at Penn State University.
Wishnia calls it a "never ending nightmare."
He says a lot of the discussion is about the upcoming game against Nebraska and what to do. According to Wishnia, there's been talk of a student boycott, which he's against.
"I don't think it's fair to punish the players that are playing right now, I mean they didn't do anything wrong," said Wishnia. "Think about the players who are here on scholarship and working hard week in and week out trying to win games."
Wishnia favors a blue out.
"Penn State is well known for its white outs where either all the students or all the fans in the stadium where white in unison to support the team, now in awareness for child abuse, people are calling for a blue out where everyone wears blue instead of white," said Wishnia.
