Student Arrested, Charged In Cabrini College Bomb Threat
RADNOR Twp., Pa. (CBS) - Radnor Township Police have made an arrest in the bomb threat made at Cabrini College on Sunday.
Police say 18-year-old Daniel Bowden, a Cabrini College student, is charged with two felonies including Terroristic Threats and Criminal Use of a Communication Facility. He also faces three misdemeanor charges including False Alarms to Agency of Public Safety, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and Harassment.
On Sunday night, a bomb threat that was called into Woodcrest Hall dormitory at Cabrini College.
According to police, two female students reported they answered a wall phone in their dormitory hall way. The caller, disguising his voice, stated that there was a bomb in the building.
The Radnor Police along with Radnor Fire Company and K9 units from Folcroft Police DELCO and Trainer Borough Police responded and cleared the building as safe.
After an investigation, police discovered that Daniel Bowden, a current student, was the person who made the phone call.
Bowden was arraigned Thursday and released on $5000 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing has not been scheduled as of this time.
