DEPTFORD, N.J. (CBS) --- Strong winds and storms hit the Deptford Mall in Gloucester County on Tuesday evening, damaging cars in the parking lot and blowing debris from the building.
Contractors are at the Deptford Mall early on Wednesday morning getting to work.
At the entrance near the Boscov's and J.C. Penney department stores, there's a sheet of metal hanging over the entrance, which is taped-off for safety.
There's actually a pile of debris in the parking lot, with metal panels, insulation and wood. This pile is near a car that has its front windshield smashed on the driver's side.
Around the lot, there is an uprooted tree and bent stop signs.
According to the mall's Twitter feed, no one was hurt here during the storm, and they're expecting to open as regularly scheduled this morning.
The mall received damages this evening due to the storm, however, we did not have any injuries. Mall will open regular mall hours tmrw.
