Store Owner Shot Dead In Wilmington
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- A community market owner in Delaware was gunned down in his own store Tuesday night.
According to police, the shooting happened just after 7:00 p.m. at Johnny's Food Market on the 1200 block of Maryland Avenue in Wilmington.
Allegedly a customer of the store just opened fire, striking the store owner, police say.
It's unclear if the shooting occurred as a result of botched robbery attempt.
The store owner was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
