Store Clerk In Camden Allegedly Kills Possible Robber
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is dead after an altercation with a 7-Eleven store clerk in Camden, New Jersey.
According to Camden officials, the incident began when a Camden man, Houston Calhoun, 27-years-old, entered the 7-Eleven on the Marlton Pike about 2:30 a.m. and started an argument with the clerk working there, 28-year-old Felipe Medina.
Calhoun grabbed a baton that Medina had in his waistband and assaulted the clerk with it. Medina is alleged to have grabbed a knife and stabbed Calhoun.
Calhoun died approximately a half hour later.
The incident remains under investigation. Medina has been cooperative with investigators and no charges have been filed against him at this time.
