Stone Harbor Ranked Among Most Expensive Real Estate Markets In U.S.
MADISON, NJ (CBS) – Real estate company Coldwell Banker has released its annual list of the most expensive and most affordable markets in the United States.
While California can claim 13 of the 25 spots on the most expensive list, Jersey Shore town Stone Harbor came in sixth – the only market in our area to crack the top 25.
According to Coldwell Banker, the average home price in Stone Harbor is a whopping $1,301,727. The next town to even approach that in the Garden State was Morris County's Chatham Township, where the average is $813,181.
In Pennsylvania, the top market was New Hope, where home prices average nearly $600,000. Two other Bucks County towns, Newtown and Yardley, were second and third.
As for the most affordable market, you'd have to travel to Ohio – Cleveland came in tops for affordability.
