Stone Cold Is A No-Show, CM Punk Goes Bad, And Degeneration-X Returns At WWE Raw 1000

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The WWE has come an awfully long way since house shows at the Spectrum, and Saturday morning television.
WWE Raw celebrated its 1000th episode on Monday night. It debuted in January of 1993, and is now the longest running episodic show in television history.
There was the return of all five members of Degeneration-X (and many other alumni appearances), the wedding of Daniel Bryan and AJ, a championship match between CM Punk and John Cena, the naming of the new general manager of Raw, and the return of The Rock. One notable absence was from former WWE champion Stone Cold Steve Austin
Former WWE Creative Team member Ange Goldstein and I discussed Raw 1000, and the new story lines it created.
