Stigall Criticizes Healthcare.gov For Going Off-line On National Youth Enrollment Day
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Chris Stigall skewered healthcare.gov for going off-line on National Youth Enrollment Day on Monday morning on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

Get Covered American sponsored the push to enroll people nationally through the Affordable Care Act website with ads featuring celebrities including Kanye West, Beyonce, Lady Gaga and others, but anyone who tried to enroll on Friday was met with a message indicating the sight would down for maintenance through Saturday morning.
The Obama Administration is encouraging young people to enroll for healthcare coverage so the premiums they pay offset the cost of older people, whose medical needs tend to be more expensive.
"This is not supposed to be financially sustainable; it is supposed to be destructive. If it weren't supposed to be destructive, someone at the top of the organization would be dismissed for all this utter failure," Stigall said, explaining his belief that the Affordable Care Act was specifically designed to fail.
"[Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen] Sibelius would've been fired if this was not by design. You cannot have this many public embarrassments and not fire someone…The mistakes continue to cascade because it is the slow erosion, doing what they want by design, slowly destroying the private health insurance industry," Stigall continued, pointing out previous errors in the implementation of the law.
Stigall wants Republicans to continue trying to repeal the law, rather than offer attempts to fix or repair it.
"You cannot work with this law, there is no such thing as nibbling around the edges, or tweaking this or tweaking that -- you can't make this better. It is destructive by design. It is the one way road to single payer. You and me getting health insurance from the United States government," Stigall said.
