Statewide Poll Released In Pa. Could Have Implications On Current Budget Crisis

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The state budget crisis is in full swing as a new Franklin and Marshall College poll is released by Terry Madonna, talk about timing.
First of all, Republican party leaders in the Senate, some of whom do not have a great relationship with Tom Corbett, have not done much to help him with the Philadelphia school crisis.
The poll shows that education is clearly issue number one and with Democratic nominee Tom Wolfe holding a 22 percent lead in this poll, the National Democratic Party believes it can regain the Pennsylvania senate where the GOP has a three vote margin.
