Stars At The Shore: Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola

MTV's extremely successful reality TV show, "Jersey Shore" will begin filming its sixth season this summer. The hit series follows the summertime escapades of a group of housemates living, working and partying together in Seaside Heights. While the show has been met with much controversy, its ratings have grown season to season even making cast members household names.
Over the weekend, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola hosted a pool party in Atlantic City. Before welcoming guests to the Pool After Dark inside Harrah's Resort, she dished about the upcoming season of Jersey Shore, her on-again/off-again relationship with cast member
Ronnie Ortiz, her projects and Snooki's pregnancy.
You're a Jersey Girl—how fun is it for you to make an appearance here in Atlantic City?
I love Atlantic City because I've been here growing up and I just love the atmosphere—it's fun, there's partying and gambling; you can hang out with friends and family so I just love it here.
What projects are you currently working on?
I have a fitness clothing line and bling cell phone/iphone case; also my perfumes Dangerous and the new one Dangerous Desires so keep your eyes open for me—I have a whole bunch of new stuff coming out!
Now, you guys are preparing for the sixth season of the Jersey Shore—what is it like to head back to Seaside Heights?
I love Seaside because it's home. Being from Jersey it's like my comfort zone so going back to Seaside just means going back home.
What was your reaction when you found out Snooki was going to have a baby?
I am so excited for her! This is the first Jersey Shore baby so I couldn't be more happy for her.
Right now, what is the situation with you and Ronnie?
Right now, we're together and I'm happier than ever so things are going really good!
So, fans will get to see that, this season?
You never know! You never what happens with us (laughs).
Soccer is a big part of your life—do you ever get the chance to play?
I do, I play with friends on an indoor league now so it's just a lot of fun. Friends from high school, we get together and we play so it's fun.
With the summer coming up do you have a special workout routine?
I play soccer with friends, I do cardio—I like to do abs that's probably my favorite routine is doing my crunches, my abs.
Do you ever get the chance to visit Philadelphia?
I'm actually going to Philadelphia tomorrow for a sweet sixteen but I've been there before—it's nice there.
