St. Christopher's Hospital Releases Phone App So Parents Can Access Information
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Need local medical information? Now there's an app for that.
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children now has a smartphone app to help parents navigate the system.
Carolyn Jackson is the hospital's CEO and says it puts a lot of information at your fingertips.
"It tells you emergency department wait time. We also have maps and directions. There is a list of frequently called hospital numbers, you can put in your health data, allergies, emergency contacts etc. There's also a first aid guide, healthy library, and physician finder," she said.
It's a free download, and Jackson says it's available for all phones expect Blackberrys, but they will be added soon.
