Squirrel Caught On Tape Sneaking Into Citizens Bank Park
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Move over St. Louis, Philadelphia has a rally squirrel of its own and it was caught on camera entering Citizens Bank Park Friday ahead of the decisive Game 5.
Eyewitness News cameras were rolling outside the Phillies' ballpark early Friday morning when a squirrel snuck under a security gate and entered the stadium.

You might be wondering: What do squirrels and the National League Division Series have in common? Well a squirrel has become a major phenomenon after making consecutive appearances on the field during Games 3 and 4 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
During Game 3, a squirrel ran onto the field near the outfield and eventually disappeared after running along the wall on the third base line.
However, during Game 4, the squirrel actually became part of the game. While winding up to throw a pitch, Phillies' pitcher Roy Oswalt noticed the squirrel once again ran onto the field and cross home plate while he threw a pitch. The squirrel continued running across the field before eventually running near the Cardinals' dugout and into the stands.
Oswalt complained to the home plate umpire, presumably that the squirrel distracted him and that the pitch should not count. But the umpire disagreed.
The squirrel in St. Louis has become so popular that a Twitter account, named Busch Squirrel, has been created and it has nearly 17,000 followers.
Phillies' fan are hoping the squirrel that snuck into Citizens Bank Park Friday brings them the same luck as the Busch Stadium squirrel did for the Cardinals.
