Springsteen Rocks The Wells Fargo Center

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Wednesday night, Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band had the first of back-to-back sold out shows at the Wells Fargo Center. Springsteen fans are known to see "The Boss" over and over (and over) again.
"I would say at least 10," said Ira from Lansdale, recalling the number of shows he's been to. "Probably more like 15," he said correcting himself.
Rob from Wall Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey, said he had been to 50 Springsteen shows, including one a few years back in Florida.
"When I first saw him in 78' I wasn't really into Bruce. But, when I came here to Philly and saw him for the first time I was on my feet for four-and-a-half hours. Couldn't believe the energy and magnetism," he said.
But as big of a fan as Rob is, his friend with him, may be an even bigger fan.
"I probably went to over 100 shows," his friend said as they tailgated. "The time he did the 15 shows at the Meadowlands, I think I did seven or eight."
Traveling from the other coast was Scott Smith, a former Philadelphia resident now living in Santa Barbara, California. He also said he was part of Springsteen's century club, going to over 100 concerts.
"I think Philadelphia, New Jersey, New York: those are the three best places, far and away, to see Bruce. It's not quite the same in Los Angeles," he said. "He's our family, we're his family."
Also making a big trip, and just getting out of his car after an over 300 mile drive from Elkins, West Virginia, was Will Shaw.
Shaw is a veteran of 25 Springsteen shows and also said he's waiting for a knee and hip replacement. "I can hardly walk but I'm going to make it in there to that concert," he said as his wife looked on. "I'm going (to have surgery) after Easter."
When asked if that would slow down his dedication to the boss he said, "I have to rest up (after surgery) and then we'll be ready to go again in the summer."
